Keynote Address from Toyota – An Industry Update

Kevin Curran, born and raised in Rockaway, New Jersey, is the youngest of nine in a family grounded in public service. He earned a degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics from The College of New Jersey, where he also played running back on the football team.

Kevin began his automotive career in high school restoring classic vehicles at Nostalgia Motors, then gained retail experience at Lawrence Lexus while in college. In 1997, he joined Toyota North America’s Lexus Eastern Area and went on to hold leadership roles across Toyota, including Sales, Scion, marketing, and distribution. He later served as General Manager for the Kansas City and San Francisco regions.

Today, Kevin leads Toyota’s North American Fleet division, bringing nearly three decades of industry experience. He also serves on the board of NextStep Fitness, a nonprofit focused on activity-based therapies for individuals with paralysis. Kevin lives in Texas with his wife, Laura, their two children, Finn and Teagan, and their dogs, Murphy and Gravy.
